LOW VIG SPORTS BETTING (caveat emptor!)
Whatever happened to that site tradingsports.com? Most
everyone here is American, so I hope nobody gets in serious trouble! Someone told me contracts could be bought and sold in real time and a sports bettor's vigorish was quite low. Btw, I haven't bet on a game in more than a decade! |

Re: LOW VIG SPORTS BETTING (caveat emptor!)
On these sites you're technically taking a bet instead of making one. As American law views the former as illegal and the latter as legal, this has rather obvious implications for Americans... Seriously.

Re: LOW VIG SPORTS BETTING (caveat emptor!)
As far as I remembered, each contract expired with a price
of $10 paid out to the winner. The participants agreed on the ante each of them puts up and the site just took $0.04 or so per transaction from the particpants. Thus, the vigorish was much lower than that typically a sports bettor would encounter. The great idea was these contracts could be traded in real time while the event in question could be watched on TV! |
