2/4 UB Kill - 3 Hands on the button
A typical UB 2/4 game - 37% seeing the flop.
(1) Queens, I love Queens... QQ on the Button. Folded to the CO, a decent player over the months, who raises. I reraise on the button, sb folds, bb calls (no read), co calls. Flop (board: Ks 7c Ts) Checked to me, I bet, both call. Turn Ac BB bets, CO calls, I fold my gutshot... (2) Bobby "Two-Tone" calls utg, Johnny Big Stack (new to the table) calls in mp, folded to me on the button with Ad Kh, I raise, blinds fold, Bobby and Johnny call. Flop (board: Jh Qc Qh) Checked to me, I bet - Bob and John aren't going anywhere. Turn: 6s Checked to me again, I play this about 62/38 bet/check - this time I checked. River: 3h Checked to me, regretting the turn check, I check again... (3) Crazy Coba calls UTG, meaning any two cards, md calls in mp out of spite perhaps, I call on the button with A 4 diamonds, blinds - given no reason not to - play. Flop (board: 7h 3c 5d): Small Blind Bets, BB folds, Coba folds, Miles calls, I, umm... |

Re: 2/4 UB Kill - 3 Hands on the button
Hand 1: you are getting 7.25:1 by my count. You really need more thiss if you think you are up against and A or K. esp when BB comes alive with the turn, you can fold.
Hand 2: with that board i am more inclined to check the turn. often you will be c/r here by a Q. when checked to you on the river, after checking the turn, i think its fine ifyou check it down. I feel you are only called if beaten. Hand 3; I hope you raised this flop, you have a double gutshot straight 4 2's and 4 6's give you a striaght, that is like an open ended straight draw. raise here and get a free card on the turn, or bet if an A, 2, or 6 falls. That's 11 outs. plus one for the backdoor flush. -AA |
