Default any of guys ever redeem your UB points?

so i finally reached 3500 points which will get me the polo shirt. i have sent 3 emails to ub, the first one apparently didnt get thru, the 2nd one they emailed me back and said they forwarded it to the marketing department, after not getting a reply from the marketing department, i sent another email and again they replied saying they forwarded it to the marketing department, and i have still yet to recieve a reply from them.

so has anyone of u ever redeem your points and recieved your prize in the mail? if so, how would i go about doing this.

I have. It took a while. I don't remember if I received a conformation e-mail, but I did get the item in the mail. It did take a few weeks I believe.

last year i ordered T.J.'s book and just before X-mas this year i ordered the UB outfit. Got both in reasonable time in central U.S. and the Shirt/hat/jacket are nifty...

i figure they use some thrid party on the mainland to handle the promotions...

indeed, i ordered different books from ub and stars at roughly the same time.
ub took about 2 weeks and stars about 5 weeks i think.

BUT, the stars book (WLLHE) was autographed by Lee Jones!!!
didn't even realize it for a few days...."Dear Robert, Best Wishes."
I was deeply moved.

but the UB book came directly from the gambler's book store in LV...meaning i also got a Gambler's Book Store Catalog.

i did get a confirmation e-mail from UB about 4 days after i ordered.

I got both Ray Zee's Hi-Lo book and an autographed copy of Phil Helmuth's book via UB points. I thought the turn around time on both was pretty good.

Good Question.

I was wondering what to do with my points. Recently I have just being playing the single table sit and goes until I have enough to win a TEC (Tournament Entry Chip) which is worth $109....Gives you entry into ANY $100 tourney....

They have ones that are 3200points (First gets a TEC), 5400points (1st and Second get a TEC) and 8000points (1st, 2nd, 3rd all get a TEC)

I usually fire up a tourney while I am playing the ring games.

In fact, last night, there was a 500pt entry that 'payed' 30,000 points to first or about 4 entries into the 8000pt tourney in which you need only get in the top 3 to get a $109TEC.

Anyways, I guess there are a variety of ways to spend em, this is just what I do.

Default The big man

They use a promo guy from Toronto, who I happened to sit next to in a 15-30 game at the Great Blue Heron.

Name is Dan, very nice guy, esp. later on when he got bored and began raising any A, and any pair.

He had a Empire hat, a UB jacket, a Paradise $100 chip.

I asked him about it and he told me he does all the promotional work, so I got his email address, pm me if you want it.
