Default First Visit To Tropicana--Not My Last

While I know us hard-bitten poker players aren't supposed to care about anything except action, action, action, I must say that the poker room at the Tropicana is a beautiful and classy room which makes the Taj looks just a large room in which people gather to play cards. On purely aesthetic grounds, then, the Trop experience was GREAT. Waitresses on Saturday were kind of dumpy, though.

i would agree that the room is nice looking, however, two months ago i went there early in the am around 7 after playing at the borg. all night, sat into a 4-8 game waiting for the noon nlhe tournament and started noticing this foul stench. i hadn't touched a drop of booze so my senses were keen, it took a second before i realized that somewhere around this table someone had puked...and it reeked to high heaven. i asked about it, politely, in every which way i could. several hours later it was eased by some air freshener, it was truly horrid. i am not thin skinned when it comes to this stuff either. growing up with five older brothers and living in frat houses i have seen my share of quarantinable(new word) situations, this was unearthly. rant over.....the trop. is nice looking....
