Default Paradise bonus worth it? Your opinions, please. . . .

I have thus far ignored the latest Paradise bonus offer, which reads in part:

"Dear XXXX,

Paradise Poker is having a 20% DEPOSIT BONUS promotion for all First Time purchases using NETeller or FirePay!

From Thursday January 1st to Sunday January 11th, you will receive a 20% BONUS the first time you make a chip purchase using either the NETeller or FirePay deposit method. For example, if you deposit $500, we'll credit your account an extra $100! Promotion details below.

Promotion Details: Promotion starts January 1st 12:01am EST and ends January 11th 11:59pm PST. Maximum bonus per first time purchase is $100. The bonus is only valid for NETeller and FirePay deposits and not for other methods of deposit. The deposit is only valid for your first ever deposit using NETeller or FirePay. You can deposit using both NETeller and FirePay and get 20% both times. The Bonus Amount will be added to your Pending Bonus account where it will be held and automatically released to your cash account based on these easy requirements: For each raked game you play you receive 1 point and at 100 points we will move $10 from your Pending Bonus account to your cash account. You will continue to collect points until you receive 100% of your Bonus money."

1000 raked hands for $100 max, which has been their usual bonus offer for some time now. 10 raked hands for eack $1 of bonus. I think that's a bit excessive, although most likely the wave of the future.

Although UB has like requirements, at least you can earn additional points by being the 1st or 2nd (double points) or 3rd or 4th (50% extra points) player at a table. And also have a shot at high hand jackpots. All things considered Paradise will have to "sweeten the pot" to lure me back as a player, especially given that (Paradise) ring games are much tougher too. I am interested in the opinions of my fellow 2 + 2 members on this issue too.

Opinions vary, but ---

My experience with the current rules shows that it is much easier to play 1000 raked hands at Paradise than it is to accumulate 1000 Ultimate Points at UB. This should hold true at any limit.

Now---why did Paradise send me the same e-mail when I have already used Neteller with them? Well---thats another question.

IMO, definitely worthwhile. $100 is nothing to scoff at (at least not for me), and if the games are too tough at the higher limits, there's always the option of playing 2 tables of .50/$1 for a few days. Paradise also serves up some real soft O8B games at 2/4 and 3/6, so if you like O8B you don't even have to bother with limit hold 'em.

Abe, the way I read the email is that the offer stands for both NETeller and Firepay. In otherwords, you could do it once each. You may have gotten the email because you have not done firepay. While the NETeller bonus option does not work for you, the Firepay one should.

That's how I read it anyway. For people who have not used either there, they can get $200 worth of bonus.

are you serious? We're you on the right site? Paradise has the best software of any site. UB is very good too but paradise is the best.

the games are really slow

The games seem really slow, and I've never worked out why this is, but if you time them, or go by the hands per hour in the lobby (The two numbers are the same, I've checked in the past) the games are as fast as anywhere else with the possible exception of UB.

not for me.. last time i left my warm blanket(party and the skins) for a different sight bonus(ub) i lost 250$. might have just been bad luck. when i sit down at party 2/4 i feel like im almost guaranteed to win(of course i dont always). but at ub i only had 1 slight winning session and all the rest were losers. im sure its something to do with style of play but i will prob never leave the safety of the skins again because of it.

bad plan. if you can't beat the tighter or tougher games and only the retard party ones, you're not learning or improving your game. And when the games at party become less retarded, which they will eventually, the players who haven't improved will get eaten up. Bonus whoring is a great reason to work on other styles and sites.
