Default How would you have played this.

Party 2/4. I have Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on the button. Okay, I know this sucks, but only 1 folded and I was pretty sure the blinds wouldn't raise. Sure enough, 9 of see the flop. Should I have folded even though I knew it was going to be a big pot?

3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Great, I got lucky. Check, check, bet, call, raise, fold, fold, call, I 3-bet, blinds both fold, and all call. 5 to the turn (12BB). I thought Christmas was last week.

7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Beautiful!

Checked to me, I bet, 3 callers. (16BB)

River 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Sweet...I think, hit a flush.

Checked to me, I bet, 2 folds, and the original flop raiser check raises me. Does he think I was bluffing? Is he making a play? Did he limp in with an over pair? Bigger flush? I thought about popping him back, but without the nuts I just called him down. Would anybody else 3-bet with the non-nut flush on a paired board?

Preflop I make that call if I feel confident the blinds won't raise.

The flop, good play

The turn good play

The river, I would have gone one more bet. You do need to worry about utg having 99, Ax or Kx suited. Of course you lose to 77 or 22, however I do not think your opponent had either. Yes, go one more raise on the river.

I'd probably cap on the river. He is either representing the flush or the two that helped him, obviously. Without knowing anything about the opponent they could easily cap with a smaller-than-queen flush. Also, he coulda picked up two pair on the river (unlikely scenario raising with Q2, but I would merit this more than a now made boat).

Wow...that must have hurt, however he had less cheese than you did preflop.
