New Year Poker Resolutions

I have had some ideas for new year's poker resolutions and would like some help in deciding, which are the most important ones. I only play micro-limits so I would like to know the most important resolutions to keep for micro-limits. Also I am sure you will all have your own favourite resolutions so please add to my list. Maybe we can come up with a definitive top 10 list in order [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

I was going to put in my comments after each one, but the post would get too long, so I shall start off with just the list and then, if there is sufficient interest add comments. Sorry about the random order of the list.

1. Play tighter
2. Raise more hands pre-flop
3. Be more aggressive post-flop
4. Be patient
5. Don't go on tilt
6. Know when to stop playing
7. Read (re-read TOP WLLH)more books
8. Study hand histories
9. Post hands I am unsure about on the forum
10 Invest in Pocker Tracker
11 Be prepared to switch tables
12 Never slow-play
13 Apart from semi-bluffs - Don't bluff
14 Fold to a Turn check-raise unless you can beat TPTK
15 Don't be a calling station
16 Don't call on the flop with weak draws
17 Observe other players
18 Make notes on other players
19 Keep accurate accounts
20 Always calculate pot and estimate implied odds on drawing hands
21 Remember the importance of Position
22 Don't give away free cards
23 Only value bet the river with at least a 55% chance of winning if called
24 If in doubt do not fold on the river
25 Only play at stakes where you feel comfortable
26 Be prepared to muck AA and similar premium hands
27 Don't get upset when a hand you mucked would have won
28 Never show losing hands in a showdown
29 Don't ever complain about a bad beat

Finally my most important one:

30 Don't neglect your family by spending too much time playing poker.

Here are MY top 3 in order of importance.

1.) Raise pre-flop
2.) Value bet the river more often
3.) Keep better notes on opponents

1. Think more at the table.
2. Relax more at the table.
3. Raise more preflop.
4. Release hands that I've raised with preflop.
5. Wait. Wait. Wait for hands worth playing.
6. Play flush draws more aggressively. Take majorkong's advice and stop worrying about charging and being charged in Limit HE.
