Typical PP 25 NL . I'm in BB with AKo 6 players already in. I'm unsure what to do. If I raise big and get called, and I miss the flop, then I am not sure how to play it because I am out of position. So to prevent any problems, I raise All in pre flop and they all fold. Anyone believe this is a bad play to consistently do in the long run. I figure AA, KK would have raised pre flop, so against any other pairing it is 50-50, or I am Big leader eg AQ. The more I think about it, the more I like the idea about pushing all in with AK. anyone want to stop me? Advice appreciated.

Keep in mind that there seem to be many players in $25 NL on PP that will limp in with AA and KK. I just saw it happen again a few minutes ago, in fact.

i have some problems with this:
- you will be behind virtually every time when called - you are preventing yourself from learning how to play AK in no-limit, which is a critical skill when moving to higher limits - you prevent someone else from going broke with a lower kicker on their ace or king - the pot is small enough that i don't relish the notion of winning it now that said, if you can find opponents who will call all-ins with hands like AQ or AJ, this play probably shows a small positive expectation in the long run. |
