Was thinking of buying one of these to help track and analyse my play. I play mainly NLHE and PLO cash games and NLHE tourneys (plus some LHE, PLO, O8B, LO tourneys)mainly at Pokerstars, Party and Ladbrokes. Just had a few questions if anyone out there felt they could help:
I think pokertracker is only for HE, can either or any other software track / analyse Omaha too? What are the main differences in the two? Which would you recommend (and why if that's not too cheeky)? I would appreciate anyone's views on this. Thanks in advance to anyone taking the time to reply. |

These do completely different things. Cardplay Analyst only tracks wins and losses. This is important. But, it doesn't help you analyse your play.
pokertracker is a database of hands. That will let you analyse your play in a million different ways. Yes, it only does holdem. But, its well worth the $40. |

Thanks MrPurple, will go for pokertracker then as I think that's more what I'm looking for. Does anyone know of anything that is capable of doing the same for Omaha hands?
