a-5 in bb against a raise
extreamly tight 6-12 game where almost every hand was a raise and both blinds fold. semi decent prop raises mid position, folded to me in bb. I have a-5 call or fold in this situation?
Results: I call and lose a lot of money |

Re: a-5 in bb against a raise
Hi ineedmoneybad,
Fold. A raise from middle position generally indicates a hand that is much stronger than A5o. Even if you aren't dominated, you will be out of position and more than likely the prop will know how to abuse this. -Brian |

Re: a-5 in bb against a raise
I am only playing if I believe I am ahead pre flop and then I am raising. So, unless you think it's a steal or the prop has very loose raising standards, which is not likley from MP, I fold.

Fold it.
That's a tight 6/12. |

extreamly tight 6-12 game where almost every hand was a raise . . . [/ QUOTE ] Aside from the question of what to do with A5 here, the bigger question may be "do you want to play at a table full of tight, aggressive players?" |
