Re: Party 30 SNG 4 player left situations
in hand #2, you have to estimate what's the chance of getting called is and because it's a Party $30 SNG the odds based on my experience are very high making this a fold. Most people online have no clue what the gap concept is, do you think most players online would fold with A X here.

If your JTo is called by Axo, you're only an 11-9 dog. I think Ax and Kx get folded often enough to make this raise +EV. |

Re: Party 30 SNG 4 player left situations
true, unless the X=J,10 then your in bad shape. I agree this is +EV play but in these SNG with many bad players I would wait for a much better EV play and going all in now might make you miss the opportunity for a much better play later.
Some players get tight when it's down to 4 players and one player will not get paid, so you have to notice that as well. |

Re: Party 30 SNG 4 player left situations

Why pass up a +EV play? going all in now might make you miss the opportunity for a much better play later. He's only got 4x BB. There is no "later." He's got 12 hands left to play. Some players get tight when it's down to 4 players and one player will not get paid That's precisely why you have to get more aggressive when the stacks aren't deep. These type of situations are why I prefer 2-table SNG's. Double the money, one more place paid, and more time before you get to blind size vs. total chip count situations that turn the tourney into a crapshoot. |
