All-in abuse out of hand at Intercasino/Cryptologic
I've played online three years and have never encountered hardly any all-in abuse -- until starting at the Cryptologic collection of poker rooms (Specifically Intercasino).
I unloaded on one guy, and he didn't even know to deny it, said everyone does it. Cryptologic is not getting the message to players. I tried to report a case to the live help. First they said the person can't do it again, "until next time they play," I pointed out. Then they said sure, we'll do something. But the guy didn't want the hand number, the screen name -- all the info necessary to actually inspect the account. These are blatant cases where the "frozen" or "disconnected" player wakes up and acts immediately after the hand is over. And in good pots. When players do not even need to be sneaky about it (like rejoining the very next hand, not missing one deal), then nonchalantly admitting it, then the situation is out of hand. These new poker rooms coming online -- the ones associated with casino software like Microgaming, Cryptologic -- they do not know poker. They should hire someone to read a book and brief them on it. |

Re: All-in abuse out of hand at Intercasino/Cryptologic
Maybe it would be better to try to contact somebody in management at Cryptologic rather than just contacting support or the skin (who are both pretty hopeless/powerlesss).
When I was playing earlier this month, I noticed a player who was routinely sitting out when the big blind came round to him and then sitting back in as soon as the button passed. When he sat back in, he was only required to post a live blind equal to one small bet (rather than posting one and a half small bets with the extra half being dead as is usual practice). I e-mailed Ryan Hartley at Intercasino saying this looked like a flaw in the software and that it was being abused - I've got no response to date. |

I think I have noticed this at Pacific Poker and at Intercasino. Do you have to disconnect. Or can you just sit out? Sounds like a great technique that everyone should start applying.
