Default Borgata tipping

I understand the Borgata is all coinless slots?

I play 2-4/3-6 holdem, if the above is true where does one get 50 cent pieces to tip the dealer? Bring them with?

Thanks.

I'm sure they will have 50 cent chips, if not, their dealers will not make a lot in tips. I would not bring change for tips, also, see what the other players are tipping with and how much.

If like other places I have played, quarters will go in every pot when they take out the rake....

Bring a few extra quarters ($3 worth) for drink tips, also I suggest, .50 is my usual tip for any drink, it's suppose to be FREE.

When I've been there most people tip using white chips, but I'm sure you can get fifty cent pieces at the cage. One of the stud games uses them for ante, I think.

The Borgata dealers will sell you a $10 roll of half-dollars.

You want us playing $2-4 to tip $1 on a $12 pot, when we put half of it in?

Typically, I tip the dealer after a gigantic pot, or at the end of his shift assuming I won at least one non-inconsequential pot. If everyone at the table tips the dealer $1 every half-hour, then they will do quite well.

I'm sorry, but I'm not a rich man, and I need to look out for myself as well.

Was that a joke about tipping the cocktail waitress 50 cents? Aren't you afraid of getting a drop of Visine in the next drink you order?

I spoke to a dealer and she told me she gets either $2.80 an hour or 3.80 and hour I can't remember....I know its one of the two though....

If they deal for 30 mins and deal out 12-16 hands on average with a normal tip of $1 on most low limit games that isn't terrible...close to if not more then $20-$25 an hour on average.

I see those guys with the .50 pieces....they never had a chance.
