is there value in betting this river?
5 handed. Sb is a fairly solid, but aggressive/tricky. Bluff raised me with A7o on a QJ9 flop earlier after i 3 bet him from the sb with AK.
Preflop Folded to the sb who limps. I raise 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the bb and sb calls. Flop 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] sb bets, i raise, sb calls Turn Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] sb checks, i bet, sb calls River T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] sb checks, i check? |

Re: is there value in betting this river?
Pretty standard check here, 3 overcards and any possible draw that he was on has now missed, there is really no hand that he can call here with that you beat. If he was on a flush draw hes folding, had a 5x and missed hes folding, etc. But if he has a 7x hes calling and you lose a bet.You would hate for him to pull a tricky c/r on the end here with his busted draw therefore making you fold 66.Pretty easy free showdown here
