Re: 99 vs. two tricky players
[ QUOTE ]
my flop raise was to try to knockout CO who has a history of bluffing into flops. however MP really screwed me up. [/ QUOTE ]You can't knock out the CO with a raise. He's the person who already put a bet in. |

Re: 99 vs. two tricky players
Other than the value you're missing PF ( I know you said not to mention it but I can't help myself, you are just misssing out on some $) I believe you played the hand fine.
[ QUOTE ] my flop raise was to try to knockout CO who has a history of bluffing into flops. [/ QUOTE ] I hope that was a typo as you are probably not knocking CO out under any circumstances. If you wrote isolate, then your reasoning would be pretty sound. A check 3-bet tells you that 99 is no good here. You have no draw. Fold. Also, your post should not include the turn and river cards/action. |

Re: 99 vs. two tricky players
everyone posts the turn/river..
i said knock out because he seems to bluff bet into the flop but will put it away if he gets caught. just my observation. |
