Am I overreacting or was this as bad as I think it was?
Party 1/2 limit. full. (this hand occured about a month ago)
Anyway I get AA and I get it capped PF HU. (I put villain on KK). Flop was AKJ rainbow. We cap (Now I know he's got KK or at least AK. No way he has QT). Turn card Q. Ugggg, I still don't think he has a T so we cap again. River T. Bet/call. ~22BB pot gets chopped as he shows KK. It went from bad case of cold-deckery for him to split-pot. In all fairness KKK is a good hand so I wasn't too mad about it. Wasn't really a "bad beat", just very unfortunate. Flopping a set of A's when you know your opponent flopped a set of K's is HUGELY PROFITABLE. Not in this case. |

No, flopping set over set and ending up with a split-pot is standard.
