yes. I've never read a book and I'm in the hole, like to the tune of probably 30k+ just between party and paradise. So like I said I wouldn't listen to me.

No empirical evidence but with an 8 showing his chances of having a made hand is about 50/50 A,K,Q,J,T,9 a 2,3 or 4 isn't exactly bad for the dealer either. But the main drawback as I've experienced is you only get 1 card and seriously the times I've split AA I've never hit a T (so I don't even know if they pay you 1 1/2 )

C'mon, you always split aces and eights...everyone knows that.
