Hand 1 looks good to me. I'd probably play very similar.

Hand 2 is difficult. I tend to always lose my money with two pair. The flop looks fine. The turn pot sized bet is good too, but at that point I'd put UTG on an Ace and reraise, probably getting all my chips in the pot at some point.

UTG limped, so we have to put him on some possible hands. A set of 2s is possible, so is AJ, AT, or KQ of spades. In some cases AQ as well, but most people tend to raise with that.

Given that he'd probably have a good Ace more often than a set, I'd just reraise the turn expecting to get all the money in the middle.

That said, he river bet makes it look like he has the goods. So I think the fold is fine with the way the hand played out.
