Best freeware for zipping/unzipping?
I'm trying to move my PT database to a new PC. I have win zip on the old one. Should I get something different for the new one?

I prefer WinRAR, but 7zip is also good in my limited experience.

[/ QUOTE ] Windows XP will handle zip files with no additional software. A zip file will be shown as a "compressed folder". Winzip and many of the other applications mentioned in this thread will handle other archive and comression formats (tar, gzip, comress, etc.) that XP's explorer won't, though. |
