Default AKs vs maniac

To be honest, I'm not very comfortable playing for my whole stack against someone that I can't read. I felt lost. Please, obitwoplustwoey, you're my only hope.

Villain is 30/9/5.0, with 77/56/59% fold, so he's bluffy and/or bets any piece of the flop and generally doesn't get played back at. I've seen him smallbet an ISD on the flop.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $.50 BB ($50 max buyin, 9 handed) converter

Hero ($74.40)
MP1 <font color="#A500AF">(Villain)</font> ($67.58)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 (Villain) raises to $2</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Hero calls $2, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>.

Flop: ($4.75) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Villain bets $2</font>, Hero ...

1) Should I have reraised preflop? What to? Push?

2) Given the way I played, what's my flop action?

Yes, I reraise this vs. a nut to ~$6. Played as is, pop the flop to ~$6.50 or $7.

I don't mind the preflop call. You're not missing value there because villian is likely to bet the hand for you. I like a flop call. You might have the best hand, you might be WB. Call, see what develops. Maybe call him down, but your gut at the table would have to tell you whether to do that or not. If the board pairs, that increases the chance you should call him down, as it makes it less likely that he has that card in his hand.

I'm reraising PF to ~6-8. Fold that to a push.

As played, I'd call the flop bet and if a brick hits the turn reraise another small bet from him to see if he's for real or just trying to get out of a mess cheap.
