ACR's Final Words on the Issue of Odds etc

i have wanted to try this site. i have a couple of internet "buddies" that play there, and wanted to join the games for the social aspect.

as i said, there was always a reason that popped up that kept me from opening an account.

even recently, a regular acr player was trying to convince me to try it & i went to see what was up.

the only games going were micros, and while i'm happy to play them just to visit and check out the site, i could not justify making a depo to play in a .50-1.00.

even since all the taxi stuff, i have popped in there to see if there were any higher games going but there were not.

i have read about 4-8 & 5-10 games there, but i never seem to be able to find one. when do the higher limit games normally get played? is there ever anything over 5-10? have there been and 10-20 head-up players there lately?

i'm not averse to supporting or trying this site, but the micros don't keep my interest. i start picking my toes and thinking of tequilla after 10 minutes.

tell me when there is a decent game there, and i will give it a shot.

then, i will be able to see if i can get past what i consider to be an incomplete resolution to that mess that happened.

Before new players/posters here jump to ACR because all the nice comments here and all the frequent posts, we should let them know that there are problems with the site beyond the fact that they get almost no business.

This is one of the biggest contributing factors to why hardly anyone on 2+2 plays on ACR.
