Dell 9300 & Party Table Locations - A Solution!
I don't know how many people this annoys, but I've seen bitch posts in the past about it, so I thought I'd share my observation.
On the Dell 9300 (or maybe all WUXGA screens), if you open a table after there's already one in the upper left corner, it shows up off the screen at the bottom. There are two ways around this: 1) move the first table out of the upper left corner first; 2) put a second table in the lower right corner, then other tables will open up in the middle of the screen. Note, if there are already tables in the upper left, lower right, and center, additional tables will open up in the upper left, covering any other tables there. Hopefully this will cumulatively save people at least the 60 seconds it took me to write this post. |

Re: Dell 9300 & Party Table Locations - A Solution!
actually they still don't open in the middle of the screen for me.
It seems I have too options: 1. If there isn't a table in the upper-left the new table will open up there. 2. If there is a table in the upper-left then the new table will open up lower right mostly off the screen. |

Try using allSnap to position your windows. That way you can get them exactly in the corners.
