good idea or FPS?
Villain is BB in hand and has been trying to donk away his stack since i sat down. He seems to be succeeding and has raised from the BB last 4 orbits. He has shown the table 3 bluffs and seems like he doesn't want to get outplayed (wont fold). My goal was for him to raise it up get a caller and then i could bomb it, take the dead money and hopefully his stack. FPS or sound logic?
Also would you ever just complete from the SB w/ JJ. I dont think i ever have but just curious as to what you guys think. Thanks for the input. Re: good idea or FPS?
Behind 2 limpers I generally complete JJ in the SB rather than raise because it can be incredibly difficult to play OOP.

Re: good idea or FPS?
PoBoy, do you play 6max or full-ring? Or is that a suggestion for either.
I'm bored and there doesn't seem to be much action so i will post the rest of the hand. Re: good idea or FPS?
I play 6-max, and I might play a little too tight, but it works for me.

Smart play sir. Sound reasoning. NH.
Completing SB or raising with JJ....it depends. |

Re: good idea or FPS?
AJ, i respect your posts a lot and i'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on why or why not you would raise/complete from SB.
I'm pretty sure i raise like 95% of the time here. I suppose that if there was a good/tricky player who had limped then i might be more inclined to complete, but i just hate playing for set value w/ JJ. I can see myself completing and watch 4 to a flop of: Q 7 2 and watch button w/ Q9 take it down which i would rather not happen. |

How has the table been running? What happened the last few orbits? How many limpers limp and who are they? What's my image? Have I raised from the blinds before and what happened during those hands? To me it's not an autoraise or an autocomplete. It depends on alot of things. That's the best I can do. |

Re: good idea or FPS?
Would it be fair to say that the more lag a table was the more you would be inclined to complete because playing against stations with overcards on the board oop is difficult? and the more tag it was the more likely you would be to raise because decisions will be easier against predictale opponents? Or vice-versa

Re: good idea or FPS?
Generally, if table is a big LAGfest, I'd be more inclined to complete. If the table is tight/weakies and TAGs, I'd be more inclined to PFR.

Re: good idea or FPS?
If BB is raising every single hand from the BB like you said,it sure looks like a good time to limp from the SB with JJ to me.
