The Maxwell Award goes to the most outstanding CFB player. The candidates were Young, Leinart, and Bush. ANYONE who has watched college football knows that Bush has been the PoY this year, hands down. Please confirm.
Any chance we see anything similar in NYC this weekend? |

VY is excellent, but Reggie Bush blows your mind at least 3 or 4 times a game.

Reggie Bush without a doubt is the best player in College Football. However Vince Young is the most valuable. USC is still a top 5 team with leinart, jarret and white but with out Vince Texas would not be nearly as good.

USC and Texas are almost exactly even. If VY has so much of an impact on Texas, then he's a better player, period.

[/ QUOTE ] I'll show my ignorance here, but is there some way (I'm assuming there is) to normalize this based on their positions? In other words, Vince Young might be more valuable, but just because quarterbacks are more valuable than running backs, etc. |

I think he was probably still recovering from the tremendous ass-kicking he delivered to Notre Dame just the week before.
10/15 @ Notre Dame 15 carries for 160 yards, 10.7 yards per carry, 3 TD 4 receptions for 35 yards, 8.8 yards per reception 1 push Don't forget it. |
