Re: Should I finish college? (long)
I come from a really conservative traditional family where parents are supposed to support you until you have graduated and have a job. I convinced them to let me pay rent for my apartment. Money-wise, the tuition isn't a big deal for either of us. I think it makes them happy to pay for my college.

You are not a dick anymore. Last question still didn't get answered. Any stats on yearly progress to your guess of 600k/year? |

Nah. I'm not getting into my WR/Bankroll. I'm pretty sure people can vouch for that estimate.

They would obviously like me to finish, but they would support either decision.

Re: Should I finish college? (long)
It is comical that someone who probably thinks he's really smart is asking this incredibly dumb question. Anyone who says you should quit school with two semesters left is either retarded or lying.
Sure, you'll be able to find a few people who dropped out of school who "made it" later in life. But 99% of the people who are successful, whatever "successful" means to you, went to college and graduated. Plain and simple. Suck it up. College just isn't that hard or demanding. |

Get a life. Can only judge what he lays out there.
Edit: Oh crap, now I'm gonna get yelled at because I'm passing judgement on you when I don't know 100% of your story either. |

Re: Should I finish college? (long)
Ok so you're looking for someone to give you incorrect advice just to validate your lazyness and lack of motivation? Alright, here, i'll give you a bone.
College isnt going anywhere... it will always be there. Poker on the other hand could be outlawed in a year or the games could get much harder... make the money while you can and put away 100k for whenever you plan to go back to college. Happy? |
