lead me not into river temptation
I offer this hand as penance for making three consecutive low-content posts. Critique of all streets welcome. If I had a read on foe I unfortunately don't remember it now; the name doesn't ring a bell on review.
$100 PLO, 9-handed Seat 5: Foe (MP2, $94.50) Seat 9: Hero (BB, $126.20) [J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]] SB posts small blind ($0.50), Hero posts big blind ($1), CO posts big blind ($1). Re: lead me not into river temptation
You have a marginal draw (OESD, non-nut flush draw) and sucky position. If the table were weak-tight (VERY unlikely at this level), I wouldn't mind your semibluff on the flop. In most cases, this is a check-fold, though.
It wouldn't be surprised at all if Villain had TTxx. |

Re: lead me not into river temptation
You have a nice draw on the flop and are in good shape against a set. I think you played it perfectly on all streets.

Re: lead me not into river temptation
You played it fine.
If Foe was one of those tricky/loose players, you could call. |

Re: lead me not into river temptation
I like the play on all streets. Just make certain that you are also playing the boat (or quads) from the same position this way occassionaly on the river to keep your opponents guessing and checking behind when they could have stolen.
