Re: When should I have KNOWN I was BEAT??
I go broke here. I'm not crazy about the minraise three bet if you are gonna call a push though. I would think the only reason to minraise there was to not get pot commited. Anyways, like I said I go broke here.

Am I the only one who prefers both raising and folding to calling preflop?

Siren - the only way I could get away from this hand is if I had a really good read on villain, the kind of read that cannot be developed from playing somebody once or twice...

Re: When should I have KNOWN I was BEAT??
Top 2 vs. Bottom set is always brutal. Who was your villian? Against Toro, for example, I just call the turn checkraise and call his river lead.

[/ QUOTE ] Thanks Durron... it was Patrico - and he's usually pretty good at mixing up his strategy I think... so was hard for me to read. (Thanx for the insight on Toro... for another time!) |

I play it like you did against, well, me... , LittleStuey, macattack, gumpzilla, others.. |
