At what point should I have dumped my Aces?
The pot just got too big so I felt I couldn't fold even though I knew I was probably beat

[/ QUOTE ] Here. It looks like UTG is capping the flop for value on his flush draw, and makes it on the turn. Any number of hands beat you here, and SB looks like he has trips on the flop, if not a boat. If this was HU, we might want to get it to SD, but here we cannot make it with these two players, and one very likely has us beat. btw, those stats are for which villain? |

Re: At what point should I have dumped my Aces?
3-bet the flop to define your hand better. Once you do that, you fold the turn when it's two bets to you.

Re: At what point should I have dumped my Aces?
UTG has you soooooooo crushed on the turn about 100% of the time.

I fold to two cold on the turn on this board.

Re: At what point should I have dumped my Aces?
I'm 3-betting that flop. Given how you played it, I think you beat almost nothing on the turn. Muck it.

Re: At what point should I have dumped my Aces?
This is a pretty basic fold on the turn, these guys would have to be idiots for you to be ahead there. You're probably against at least one 6 and/or a flush as these guys have each bet/raised at every opportunity. Wait, didn't notice UTG's call/cap on the flop, that's even worse. Wow. Aces no good. I fold and don't even worry about folding the best hand here.
You should have 3 bet the flop. |
