Re: Standard AJs hand?
His hand looks like either 66, 44, A6, or an agressively played A9-AT. I think you are beat more often than not, so I like the call down.
I might just call the flop raise though, so that I can pop him on the turn. |

Re: Standard AJs hand?
If BB would have folded already I would have called the flop raise and raised the turn.
You fold if MP then 3bets the turn? |

Re: Standard AJs hand?
I like your line for the most part, but you have to hope he is overplaying his hand, which a player like this will often do. Keep in mind even a maniac/moron can land a big hand every once in a while, even though its very difficult to give him credit for it.

Too weak? [/ QUOTE ] Yes. A check raise here does not always mean we are beat at all. It could be a flush draw, or a worse pair. If you don't feel comfortable raising the turn, at least 3-bet the flop. |

Re: Standard AJs hand?
That's my line. I pray to see A9 or AT, or maybe AJ, but I expect to lose. However, I expect to be good enough times to call down. Can't be folding TPGK regularly just because a guy seems overly frisky.
Sometimes, players will go bonkers on us with top pair in frustration over previous hands. |
