SD per hour is 19.68 BB
SD per 100 is 20.76 I understand the swings that can happen per 100 hands. But this is a 6000 hand swing and your numbers on the negative swings for 100 hands, while relevant to someone interested in knowing my 100 hand negative swings, have little or no bearing to what a negative 6000 hand swing should look like. If you can calculate this, I'd be interested in seeing it. A negative 6000 hand swing to someone earning 100BB per 100 hands would most certainly not include a $900 loss to within 1%, but what if that person only made 10BB per 100 hands, or 5BB, or 3.5BB. If you could calculate this, I think it would clearly show that a $900 loss over 6000 hands is quite unusual and most likely the result of poor play. soda ps - I think I understand this perfectly well. But, I never was very good at statistics. |

Another point to consider, of course, is how accurate your currently calculated winrate is. Perhaps it's correct or perhaps you just started off with a very nice good streak. Does it really matter, though? Just keep playing well and making lots of money!
