It's not cali weather in Vancouver, shouldn't be too bad of a climate adjustment since you're already used to that type of sub-zero temps.

Vancouver rarely has subzero temps -- one of the main reasons I live here.

Anyway, I did a bit of Internet research and found that Copenhagen is only a little bit colder than Vancouver in January (on average):
