If you don't, then like it was stated earlier, you can skip it. I haven't heard any real sound reasoning why you should call. It just appear like the default weak/tight line to me, while I've heard better reasoning on why you should raise. Thought it would generate a little more discussion then it did because it's a fairly common situation that can make siginifcant impact on your winrate if you don't play this situation ideally. Of course this is somewhat wind tunnel reasoning, but... |

you have position, if you are vs. AA or KK you can see flop and try to hit set and bust them, if you 3 bet, you might get blown off the hand by a huge 4 bet. Also even if you 3 bet and they just call, AA or KK can very easily do that so you don't learn much info, and you can see if there's an ace or K on flop, if there's one of those, then I think it's easy to get rid of, also if the flop is J high, and it's bet and raised in front of you easy to get rid of. 3 betting I think doesn't clarify where you stand, and it gives your "2nd raiser" a chance to blow you off the hand and not let you draw to a set to double.

what exactly would rereraising here accomplish?
to get an AK to fold you have to make it at least a 4th of your stack, and then have fun folding to a push by the reckless AK holders, or are you planning on calling the inevitable all in and be either: A. slightly ahead B. way behind Call and flop a set you sicko, this is a typical NL situation where you tread cautiously without very strong reads |

I thought it was a pretty standard flat call thing. Looks like I was right, too bad I couldnt convicne him to bet cash on it |
