I've only been to the Woods twice and I played hold em both times (it's been awhile - the drive is a beast). So you may be right. But Taj has the most mid limit stud I've ever seen anywhere - planning on doing an all stud trip to the Woods soon though, so I'll be sure to give a report.

In Vegas I found that the stud8 games are usually spread in mixed games...though during the WSOP the Rio had a 20-40 game that went off around the time of the stud8 events.

The quality of the game was ok. Basically it meant that there were 1 or 2 producers at the table and 4 to 5 players chopping them up.

I am going to foxwoods a week from today(9th). Its my roommates girlfriends 21st so her father got her four rooms for the night. It is going to be kickaaaaasssssss. I will probably play stud again because the waitlists are soooo long for holdem and fishies like myself dont like waitlists.

It sounds like you shouldn't even bother with Stud at a B&M for a while. Your posts paint you as being scared of sitting down. Seriously, if you can't handle the pressures of a 1-5 stud game, you need to hone your skills online first.

The only stud I've ever played at the Woods was when I was 22 (a few years ago). I played lots of 5-10 stud there and the games were very loose (as was the 10-20 if I recall correctly). I can't wait to get back there and see if the bigger games are good. In the meantime, I think I'm taking a quick trip to Taj tomorrow.

My one visit to the Taj lasted less than an hour, but it seems to me that Foxwoods has significantly more stud games.

no actually it doesn't
