Are you guys seriously thinking that putting your stack (950ish) into a pot of 250 is the best move?

someone probably needs to look up A2d here vs AK

then figure in the fold equity, then figure in the chance of having the best hand (based on opponent) and being called by something like a sf gutshot...

of course pushing is highly superior to the line taken by hero in this hand

its also probably better than having to call a big turn bet, how the hell can you know where youre at, position with a hand like this is almost a liability, because you check behind trying to get the flush cheaply

im all in on the flop here almost 100% of the time with excellent results compared to an attempted call down

Yeah I didnt expect that he would bet the turn.
My thinking was that for most players at 5/10 minraise in this spot is weakness bet to "find out where he stands" or some kind of draw (flush draw, second pair etc). Against these hands I wanted to bet the flop and turn because I can make money on these streets and I am not sure if Villain call immediate allin also if he wants "to find out when he stands with A better kicker he can lay it down after 3bet message. Also if he has set/2pair I expected that he put me allin on the flop which is fine.
The problem with that is I neglected the possibility of stop&go by Villain (its very rare play at my level.. I guess I should get used to it). I thought I was good big % of time on the flop but changed my mind after turn allin (oh well, I am weak ).

All in all thanks for responses. Some food for thought for me here

Best wishes
