heads up i would 3-bet the flop. i dont give him credit yet for an overpair

If he caps i would call down alt fold if i dont hit BDS on turn
If he calls I lead out on the turn (and probably fold to a check/raise)

I think this is fine. He will cap a flop 3bet with hands you beat and back off hands you don't. I don't think he's folding the flop for one bet. I don't mind letting him bet UI overcards to the river. I almost want to raise the turn but getting 3bet would suck, as I'd have to fold.

I'm not raising for fold equity. Given that I think I'm ahead for more than 50% of his range should I 3-bet the flop? What do I do if he caps?

I always end up calling down in these situations, but I hate doing it everytime.
