Default KJo in the SB, turn play

Villain is slightly too loose and way too passive preflop but plays pretty well postflop. He won't take a free card with position very often.

5 handed live, Hero in the SB with KJo

1 fold, CO limps, button calls, Hero raises, BB folds, CO now folds, button calls.

Flop: KT9r
Hero bets, button calls

Turn: J

Hero screwplays.

Too fancy or is this about the right situation?

I think it's a terrible situation because when you're ahead he can easily throw away his hand thinking you have the Q. While if you bet out, he will call you down with hands you beat.

Cheers.

hero raises preflop and is head up out of position, flop goes bet/call, turn check/bet/raise

this is awful. if we c/r and he doesn't have a Q he folds.
if we c/r and he does have a queen we are screwed

but more often than not he'll check behind and we miss value.
