Default Line with top 2 pair against suspected set

Villan is TAG with 19/11/2.3 stats.

I think I'm up against either a set or random two pair on the flop.

What is the standard line here?

I can't see this villian playing 33 in this spot. AA and KK re-raise you preflop, and I would assume so would AK. A3s could make sense if he assumed you were stealing, though why wouldn't he 3-bet preflop? This hand is really confusing me.

I would be raising the turn. Why do you think he has a set. Villan is not the type to slow play pocket pairs is he? He looks aggressive to me and would not cold call with pockets.

I'd make him pay.

Raise him on the turn. He probebly suspects you are stealing.

I think we are ahead here a ton of times so I raise the turn. If he still want to raise me, fine, I call him down and go slow from there. I wouldn't be surprised to see a pair of aces here with medium kicker or two pair. If he has a set so be it but I'm still raising the turn.

So whats the line if I raise the turn and he 3-bets? Call and then call on the river?

I was hoping someone could find a fold here... this hand sucked.

Without reading responses ...

I think you definitely need to raise the turn. Since villian has a decently high AF (not sure how many hands), I would even go as far as to cap the turn and slow down on the river. The only thing i can conceivably think we are behind on the flop is 33. Another thought is that villian could be hyper-aggresively pumping with a hand like Qh Jh

Even if villian had a .00000000000000001 AF I would have a hard time getting away from this .... maybe I dump too much with top 2 pair though after reading some responses

Actually, 33 is about the only thing I can see villain having here. What else would he cap the flop with that he wouldn't raise preflop? QJ [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A3s? Was he trying to be tricky preflop with AA or KK thinking OP was on a steal?

This hand is very confusing. Even though I suspect 33, I think I'd raise the turn and make villian "prove" it to me with a 3-bet. Only then would I slow down.
