does this count as a bad beat?
this forum is fun. however, the following is true! not a big funny joke like the ones being made by some of you clowns. this happened a couple weeks ago, and i was pretty pissed. not sure if it qualifies as a "bad beat" though. ub 10-25nl table, i have about 2100, villain has me covered. villain opens to 85 utg, one coldcaller, i reraise to 300 straight with AA. utg makes it 1k straight, coldcaller folds. now i take a second to decide whether to shove in my last 1100 right here, or smoothcall and let him open-push the flop with his KK. at this point...I LOSE MY DSL CONNECTION!!!!! Re: does this count as a bad beat?
No, because I can't see how villian is folding preflop for only 1100 more. (plus what if an ace flops? villian might be afraid then) So, had you not taken that second to act......
