Will there always be an outcast?
For example, doesn't every dorm in college have one guy/chick who everyone can't stand? On any sports team, isn't there always one tool that everyone picks on? Now, is this just a matter of chance that in a group of 15 people, at least 1 of them is gonna be a misfit, or will the group always find someone to ridicule. |

Re: Will there always be an outcast?
I went to an all male high school, and I can honestly say that out of the 280 kids in my graduating class, there was no one that was an "outcast". You may hear an occasional jab at someone, but nothing of any consequence. There may have been 1 or 2 kids that went out of their way to be d-bags, but it was few and far between. Otherwise, yes, I think that is always going to be "that guy" in every group.

I also wanted to mention, that even in internet forums, this same phenomenon seems to happen. |

No, not at all. Played on lots of assorted teams, no outcasts in any of them.
