10/20 Commerce - mixing it up with aces
I open for $80 in MP with black aces and ~$4k behind, SB calls (has me covered), BB calls.....these two opponents are only semi-retarded (as compared to the rest of the people at the table/Southern California)....
flop is Q92 (two clubs) - check, check, check turn is 2 - SB bets $200, fold, I call river is 2 - SB bets $300, I mini-raise to $600 but - before I can yell "ship it" and go meet some fine-ass Malibu chicks down at the Scientology church - I get to watch him bitch and moan about not being able to fold for $300 more.... |

Re: 10/20 Commerce - mixing it up with aces
Why are we not making a pot-sized raise on this river? You can even make an overbet even if your opp is semi-retarded. He's either got a big hand to pay you off or nothing so why min raise?

Re: 10/20 Commerce - mixing it up with aces
he has a queen, he probably won't pay that much more than 300 on top

Re: 10/20 Commerce - mixing it up with aces
i dont think that particular flop is a good time to mix it up with aces against retards. if they play anything like LATB, you can play a big pot here and not be too concerned. from what ive heard about these games, AQ/KQ stacks off here more often than not.

Re: 10/20 Commerce - mixing it up with aces
dec. 16 - 25. Unfortunately most of the poker time will probably be in the afternoon, games probably won't be great then?
