Re: Stars support decision. Should I be mad? (long)
Well...obviously you have to pick up your chips if you are moved to a different table.
But they will usually make it pretty clear (because there's almsot always 1 beginner there) that you are not allowed to put any of the chips in your pocket when you move. If you need a tray to carry the chips then request one. Put one chip in your pocket and you're out of the tourney (assuming they see it of course). |

Based on your reasoning, I guess you shouldn't have received any money back in this thread: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...5&fpart=all After all, he may have just not known the rules. And that's ok, right? Maybe just give him a warning. I'm sorry - it is your responsibility to know the rules of a game you play. If not, that *should* be your problem, not anyone elses. They're available to read. Ryan [/ QUOTE ] Bob was playing in a tournament while you were playing a cash game. Did you read the Stars response? |

So you guys are essentially suggesting that it's ok to interfere with an all-in hand and chat freely all about what you think the players have while someone is making a decision. Whether or not he was going to call is irrelevant here. Why doesn't anyone seem to understand that? I have a feeling you'd feel differently about it if it happened to you. Ryan [/ QUOTE ] No, we don't think it's okay to interfere with an all-in hand. Neither does Stars support. That's why they issued that guy a warning. |

I am quite frankly amazed at how precisely the support personnel have defined their role in this situation. Top notch stuff.
You should not be mad. They handled this well. |

I agree with the line Stars took, FWIW.

It's hillarious to see Bob take a different position when its Pokerstars vs Party Support. Absolutely gold. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Same thing the rest of this board would have done.

Re: Stars support decision. Should I be mad? (long)
it's a different situation. and he got a different (complete) response.
glad you find some hilarity in it. too bad you can't see the real differences. you may also notice that many on the forums agreed with my take on the party situation...and that almost everybody in this thread thinks the original-poster here was over-reacting in this particular situation. |

Re: Stars support decision. Should I be mad? (long)
It's not a hanging offence - breach of table etiquette for sure but not intentional collusion - in fact you would have had a better chance of getting his chat removed if you had reported him for obscene language - most poker sites are very strict about obscenities in chat if someone complains and telling someone to 'stfu ' or 'shut the f*ck up' is most definitely a breach of TOS and a much position harder for the site to defend
