[/ QUOTE ] LONG time coming imo. lee has stated here that the programmer's priorities are on specific things. i have not seen him mention a sizeable window. i suspect that this was a very large job for party to program. if not, all the big sites would have it. zero doubt. |

They will, it's only a matter of time. I think they have more important things to do... although I haven't noticed any problems, I'm sure scalability is first and foremost. I have a feeling that getting draw software is a pretty big priority, as party doesn't have draw.
When they do implement mini tables, I hope they follow party's lead and make the tables LOOK the same as the normal size tables. I dislike the mini-view from UB and prima. I don't care if I can rezise them, I'd rather be able to choose my default table size in the options and have a menu to select between a few sizes on the tables themselves. |

I think there should be three sizes on all serious nets. Standard 800 width, then mini as a few have with 512. 512 tables usually look diffrent (too diffrent to me), but as I see it there should also be a 640 version that looks the same as 800, but just 20% smaller, would be very nice. Now most people could quad table on a standard 1280*1024 monitor.

So what is it that the Poker Stars programmers are working on? The software really hasn't changed much in a while. Same for basically every poker site out there. These programs aren't that complex, why don't they upgrade them more often?

It's a near certainty. Only question is how quick they will be able to push it out the door. This is something that caters heavily to high volume players, and Stars doesn't want to lose even more of those to Party.

That work for free and test the software for free for months and months before releasing?
