Re: If you could have your wish
I was not aware of that he wrote a book. I picked him because of his tournament record, particularly his world series record. But I suppose your poker history has nothing to do with being able to write a good book or wanting to.

a lot of interesting choices here, but remember,
Good player != Good Writer or Good At Explainig Concepts. |

Re: If you could have your wish
I respect Ungar as much as the next guy, but you can't put his playing style in writing so his book probably wouldn't be very good.
That being said, I would like to see a tournament co-written by Tiffany Williamson and Aaron Kanter. |

Re: If you could have your wish
Only if Williamson does pre-flop strategy and Kanter does post-flop strategy. Otherwise, you'll totally get pwned.

Re: If you could have your wish
Honestly all I really want are more advanced hand problem books in a HGIYLH style, by Greenstein or 2p2.

Ted Forrest for both. [/ QUOTE ] That's a good point. Ted is a mystery to me though, I wonder if he has the potential to be a good writer or would want to do a book. |
