99....perhaps opponent is commited
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx
BB (t9480) UTG (t15087) UTG+1 (t6887) MP1 (t6905) Hero (t17005) CO (t7050) Button (t1035) SB (t14970) Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 1 fold, UTG+1 raises to t2400, 1 fold, Hero?? Is there a standard protocal here? I find myself surprised I did what I did. |

bump
I know this hasn't been here long, but I'm leaving soon, and I don't think I'll have 2+2 over holiday.

Re: bump
I don't know. If you lose you still have an above average stack to do damage with.
UTG+1 is probably not in a huge rush here, so I put him on 88+, AJ+, and mayyyyyyyybe suited broadways. You have the stack to put him out so I'd reraise him all-in. Maybe you flat call and hope for a set or unders. |

Re: bump
I folded....I played a near identical hand with AJs that I folded too.
It felt wierd making the fold...but I ended up winning the whole thing |

Re: 99....perhaps opponent is commited
Play some poker. Reads would be helpful. If I don't feel he has TT+, then i'll flat call and see a flop. You'll most likely have position throughout hand. If you think he's uber tight, then fold.
