Default The Rare and Mostly Useless For Poker INTJ

INTJ myself.

I have heard INTJ's are the least common result (1%) on the test, whatever that means in practice. I will say the little description they give for the personality type is accurate for me.

Frankly, I think it gives me some Poker hurdles to overcome. It is not a personality type known for understanding other people very well. I have had to rely upon my unusually good pattern matching abilities instead of my understanding of my fellow human being. As compensation, I find books like Theory of Poker an easy read.

My suspicion is that ISFP or ISFJ would have the best results.

I'm pretty sure I was an INTJ as well when I had to take the test.

I found this info about distribution of Earth population between MBTI:

ISTJ 7%
ISFJ 6.5%
INFJ 2%
INTJ 2.5%
ISTP 4%
ISFP 5.5%
INFP 3.5%
INTP 3.5%
ESTP 7.5%
ESFP 9.5%
ENFP 7.5%
ENTP 4.5%
ESTJ 15%
ESFJ 14%
ENFJ 4%
ENTJ 3.5%

US numbers slightly differ.

(According to Robert C. Wicklein and Jay W. Rojewski. The Relationship Between Psychological Type and Professional Orientation Among Technology Education Teachers. Digital library and archives.)

I was unable to find such distribution for poker professionals. I think for poker pros this is close to stocks day-traders distribution - researches on their types is easier to find.

I am INTJ.

INTJ although I may have once been an INTP in my youth.
The question seems only relevant for players that are
clearly winners at the poker. I would think that INTJ's
would be represented more among "professional" poker
players (as well as traders).

But what about the biggest losers ?

Default whoa

Am i the only ISTP yet?

While i do enjoy M/B, i find some of the questions to be utterly stupid.

Ex:
When the phone rings you either
A) are the first to answer it or
B) let it ring.

Seeing as how I LIVE BY MYSELF, i guess I am the first to answer it.

I took it here and ended up with INFJ. Reading the description of this type (Counselor) made a lot of sense for me. I took the free test above to get that, and the pay-test just gave me the result of _NF_. Close enough for me.
