It isn't legal. It's an underground cardroom...they're kind of commonplace in large metropolitan areas where gambling is illegal.

This does look like a good place for me if it's safe...it'd be 1/2 the travel time as for a trip to AC for me.
Speaking of which, does anyone know of any similar clubs in Central New Jersey? I know there used to be one in the New Brunswick area, around River Road...anyone know if it's still there, or have any details on what games they run? A friend of mine who plays pro used to play there, but I haven't gotten ahold of him for a while now so I can't ask...thanks for any responses. -bb.
