Re: What do I do (girlfriend\'s job)
I watched a documentry on these types of bars. Basically the two girls they were following were from Canada and were going over there bc of all the money they could make. I forgot the exact numers but I believe it was a lot more than $20 an hour.
This documentry made no reference to prostitution, which I was continually waiting for, but something still seemed fishy to me. Maybe these checks were whoring it out and your girlfriend is choosing not to, therefore only making $20 an hour. |

Re: What do I do (girlfriend\'s job)
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] How long have you guys been dating? Obviously a club looking to hire girls that will be flirting will tell the girls that they're an upstanding club that will kick men out for manhandling their womem, but that doesn't mean it's true... It's not really that big of a deal, since you don't imply that you can/will give her money (which is probably what she was fishing for when she brought this up with you). If you can't afford her, you can't complain about this job. It's only for a few months anyways... [/ QUOTE ] dating for a bit over 1 year, known her for 1.5 years. Her friend has been working there for awhile and said it is OK, and hasn't been grabed or anything like that. [/ QUOTE ] Is this the friend who also wont tell the guy she is going to marry that she works there? .... FWIW, i agree with everything pete said. You _will_ worry about the situations she will be in once her job starts. Man, teach her how to bonuswhore (i nicely avoided an easy pun for you there). I think you meantioned this job is for 1 month. So $2.4k from the job. Ya, very possible from casino whoring. You owe me a beer for making it so your girlfriend doesn't have to take this job. |

Re: What do I do (girlfriend\'s job)
Tell her to ditch the job; get her a better job "in a few months" when she comes over. Send her some cash if she really needs it.

Re: What do I do (girlfriend\'s job)
I'd consider that seriously not necessarily out of lack of trust in her, but out of lack of trust in the employer.
I also agree that the word of her lying friend is no support at all. |
