Although opponents like this are incredibly valuable, I must admit I do still think about the alcohol/drug abuse and/or gambling addiction on the other side of the ether.

Doesn't stop me from putting them on my buddy list, though.

I was thinking the same thing about alcohol or even worse. These two hands were just a small sample size of what was happening. I doubt he will be around for much longer. He was a little difficult to sympathize with, because he was taunting other players about THEIR horrible play.

I've got a list of buddies like this, most don't last long. Just yesterday, someone sat down with $50 to play me head up in 2-4 and bet/raised every opportunity. I busted him in about five minutes. Absolutely, folks like this are often scummy, based on my live casino play. And they'd take your money in a heartbeat. It's just the nature of the game. None of us should think we're just playing "bad" players when we hook up with maniacs like this, though.
