I can give you my opinion on where NOT to play.

PokerRoom - Software Sucks. Games are not as soft as party. Fewer tables. hard to find games above 2/4. You can only play one table at a time

Pacific - Slowest play ever. Few tables. Some have said that the games are softer than Party, but there are some regulars there who are sharks. You can only play one table at a time. No tournaments. Cashouts are Slow.

Prima Poker (RoyalVegas, GoldenPalace, 7Sultans, etc.)
- Software is not great. Cashouts are a real hassle. Have to provide Driver License, copy of your credit card etc.
Possible exception in the Prima Poker site is The Gaming Club. Apprently, they have removed the ID check requirement for cashouts. It posts regularly here and seem open to our suggestions in improving the site, etc.

I hope this helps.

Sam

You might want to check out Paradise Poker, they have great software and numerous games. But Party is always got the most action on their games.

I think everyone agrees Party is the place to play, but I'll put in a good word for ThePokerClub.com. I love the interface and there are some wild games and players. Flop % over 50 is the norm and it has some crazy pot limit games. Another plus is the ownership is regularly available at one of the tables for chat. Light traffic but still a good site with lots of regulars.

1. GoldenPalace is NOT part of the Prima network

2. At Gaming Club, ID checks have been almost entirely removed (and if you use Neteller they have been completely removed, unless there is any evidence of fraud / collusion, etc). If you want the detail, search for our post entitled "Gaming Club responds (VERY long)"

Last point:

Notwithstanding the recent influx of zoo denizens, we think you'll find our games at your level worth a try.

As we type this, for $0.50/$1 HE players seeing the flop is ranging between 45% and 70% with average pot $6-$10 for limit games, while NL games are %/flop 55%-90% and average pot $20-$30

I am just curious as to why you would be interested in trying something other than Party? Have you had some negative experiences there? Or have you been losing money?

My only non-Party experience is with Pacific Poker. I absolutely hated it. I have observed at TruePoker, Paradise, Ultimate Bet, and PokerRoom. And none of those sites appeals to me at all.

I absolutely love Party and make a small but steady micro income at the micro limits. Enough to buy soda and cookies or the occasional hamburger.

You might also want to try out some of the Party-skins like Empirepoker, Multipoker, or Intertops. There are people here who will do bonus-kickback.

But if you are looking for a truly new place this wont do you any good, i suppose. Then you can try out intercasinopoker or caribeansunpoker. These places give you a $40 bonus every month when you play 250 hands.

The downside is that tables are not quite as fast as they are at Party. The good side is that the games are nearly as soft

I like playing at InterCasino Poker. Bonuses are good and the games are pretty loose. There is almost always a 1/2 game going but if you're looking for anything higher they can sometimes be hard to find.

Gibs and Batman. I am playing Blackjack at Intercasino Poker. I deposited $80 last month and was given an $80 bonus. I played the required 800 hands last month and had lost $60 of the bonus money. But I still had my $80 and $20 of their bonus money. But instead of cashing out, I got angry, because I had previously been up $80 of their bonus money plus another $20 or more. So I bet and lost the remaining $20, and only had $80.50 left. And then I found out there is a cash out charge of $1. So I lost .50 after all that effort.

This month I again deposited $80 for the $80 bonus. Then I read their promotions and found out that now they would have matched $100 instead of just 80. And they also increased the amount of play required from 20x bonus to 25x bonus. So instead of 800 hands, I have to play 1000 hands to clear the bonus.

I am not liking this place too much.

I have heard just the opposite from others that the poker there sucks.

But is the poker bonus separate from the blackjack bonus??? Or can I play poker to clear the blackjack bonus? I don't see how they will know if I am depositing the $40 toward poker or the $80 toward blackjack if it is all one account?
