Default scary board with A5s

Playing 6/12 at Borgata last night

With 2 calls I in limp in middle position with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. After me there is a raise and a reraise, I thought about folding except everybody was calling the 3-bet so I followed along. It was the type of hand where players were probably playings hands they shouldnt for a 3-bet, perhaps me included.

6 players to the flop
A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I did not think anyone had an A, and when it was checked to me I bet, which could have been dangerous but I did not think anyone else had an A and I didnt want to give a free card with 2 diamonds on board. Two players drop on my flop bet, the rest call.

4 players to turn, which is a low diamond. I of course absolutely hate this card and im worried about the flush. Once again its checked to me, but this time I check behind. The river is a Q thats not a diamond and someone bets into me, at which point I know im beaten. Because of the size of the pot, i call his bet.

How is my play on every street? I normally would have folded this hand to a 3-bet, but this time i didnt due to the number of callers. What do you think?

Thanx, villians hand below in white

Villian has QQ <font color="white">

I think you should bet the turn, mostly for value, planning to call down if raised.

Yeah, you could be walking into a trap if someone has AK or KK or a flush, but you want to make hands like T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and JT pay to draw. Plus, you may get called by someone who has 1 out versus the field.

Preflop, I think you should fold when it's two more back to you. But I think the river call is fine. The bettor could have KQ or A6o or something.

I would fold preflop and bet the turn.

Just the second time, or both times?

I don't want to speak for either of the Nicks, but I'd limp the first time and fold for two back.

Me too. Both decisions pretty easy imo.
